In September 2017 56 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 14.3% increase from the 48 Cornelius homes sold in August 2017. September 2017 sales figures increased 5.7% from September 2016 when 53 homes sold in the Cornelius area.

The average sales price in Cornelius decreased 6.2% from $498,631 in August to $467,840 in September. The September 2017 average sales price decreased 9.1% from the September 2016 average sales price which was $514,483.

Average days on the market increased 88.9% from 45 days in August to 85 days on the market in September. The September 2016 average days on the market were 49, a 73.5% increase in market time from one year ago.

Currently there are 158 active homes for sale in the Cornelius MLS area, down 7% from September. The average list price is $1,035,168 up 1.4% from the September average list price of $1,021,022. 88 Cornelius homes are currently under contract, up 4.8 from September. In August 2017 48 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 29.4% decrease from the 68 Cornelius homes sold in July 2017. August 2017 sales figures decreased 17.2% from August 2016 when 58 homes sold in the Cornelius area.

The average sales price in Cornelius increased 3.2% from $483,318 in July to $498,631 in August. The August 2017 average sales price decreased 22% from the August 2016 average sales price which was $639,680.

Average days on the market increased 21.6% from 37 days in July to 45 days on the market in August. The August 2016 average days on the market were 74, a 39.2% decrease in market time from one year ago.

Currently there are 170 active homes for sale in the Cornelius MLS area, down 3.4% from August. The average list price is $1,021,022 up .8% from the August average list price of $1,013,130. 84 Cornelius homes are currently under contract, down 7.7% from August.
