In August 2014 15 Cornelius waterfront homes sold, a 25% increase from the 12 waterfront homes sold in July 2014. August 2014 waterfront sales figures increased 150% from August 2013 when 6 Cornelius waterfront homes sold.

The average sales price increased 12.4% from $1,223,563 in July 2014 to $1,375,125 in August 2014. August 2014 average sales price increased 16% from the August 2013 average sales price which was $1,185,233.

Average days on the market increased from 102 in July 2014 to 157 in August 2014, a 53.9% increase in market time. August 2013 average days on the market were 161, a 2.5% decrease in market time.

Currently there are 78 Cornelius waterfront homes listed in the MLS with 12 of those under contract, down 7.7% from July. The average list price is $1,559,467, up .7% from July. The current lowest priced Cornelius waterfront home is listed at $369,000 and the current highest priced Cornelius waterfront home is listed at $4,950,000.
