In September 2014 49 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 27.9% decrease from the 68 homes sold in August. September 2014 sales figures increased 28.9% from September 2013 when 38 homes sold in the Cornelius area.

The average sales price increased 4% from $533,292 in August to $554,738 in September. The September 2014 average sales price increased 23.6% from the September 2013 average sales price which was $448,741.

Average days on the market decreased 9.1% from 66 days in August to 60 days on the market in September. September 2013 average days on the market were 95, a 36.7% decrease in market time.

Currently there are 215 homes for sale in the Cornelius MLS area, up 5.46% from August. The average list price is $803,579 up 8.7% from the August average list price of $739,245. 32 Cornelius homes are currently under contract, down 27.3% from August.

In September 2014 28 condos/townhomes sold in the Cornelius area, a 33% increase from the 21 condos or townhomes sold in August 2014. September 2014 sales figures increased 33% from September 2013 when 21 Cornelius condos sold.

The average sales price increased 12.3% from $174,105 in August 2014 to $195,450 in September 2014. September 2014 average sales price increased 17.5% from the September 2013 average sales price which was $166,330.

Average days on the market increased 60.4% from 53 in August to 85 in September. September 2013 average days on the market were 126, a decrease of 32.8%.
