In October 2014 46 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 6.1% decrease from the 49 homes sold in September. October 2014 sales figures increased 12.2% from October 2013 when 41 homes sold in the Cornelius area.
The average sales price increased 8.3% from $554,738 in September to $600,678 in October, the highest monthly average sales price since September 2006! The October 2014 average sales price increased 56.6% from the October 2013 average sales price which was $383,673.
Average days on the market increased 38.3% from 60 days in September to 83 days on the market in October. October 2013 average days on the market were 104, a 20.2% decrease in market time.
Currently there are 245 homes for sale in the Cornelius MLS area, up 14% from September. The average list price is $724,969 down 9.8% from the September average list price of $803,579. 71 Cornelius homes are currently under contract, up 121.9% from September!
