In October 2016 46 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 13.2% decrease from the 53 homes sold in September. October 2016 sales figures increased 9.5% from October 2015 when 42 homes sold in the Cornelius area.

The average sales price in Cornelius decreased 14.1% from $514,483 in September to $442,170 in October. The October 2016 average sales price increased 2.5% from the October 2015 average sales price which was $431,539.

Average days on the market decreased 8.2% from 49 days in September to 45 days on the market in October. The October 2015 average days on the market were 60, a 25% decrease in market time.
