In May 2016 50 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 16.3% increase from the 43 homes sold in April. May 2016 sales figures decreased 9.1% from May 2015 when 55 homes sold in the Cornelius area.

The average sales price in Cornelius increased 3.9% from $443,690 in April to $461,000 in May. The May 2016 average sales price decreased 5% from the May 2015 average sales price which was $485,332.

Average days on the market increased 3.4% from 59 days in April to 61 days on the market in May. The May 2015 average days on the market were 54, a 13% increase in market time.
