In May 2015 63 homes sold in the Cornelius area, a 37% increase from the 46 homes sold in April 2015 and the highest May total since 2006. May 2015 sales figures increased 26% from May 2014 when 50 homes sold in the Cornelius area.

The average sales price increased 33.3% from $363,273 in April to $484,347 in May. The May 2015 average sales price decreased 6% from the May 2014 average sales price which was $456,932.

Average days on the market decreased 19.7% from 66 days in April to 53 days on the market in May. The May 2014 average days on the market were 104, a 49% decrease in market time.

Currently there are 277 homes for sale in the Cornelius MLS area, up 3% from May. The average list price is $789,716 up 6.9% from the May average list price of $738,986. 105 Cornelius homes are currently under contract, up 2% from May.
